LIZS 853 FAST ROAD BIKE
Liz wanted a fast road bike. Lightweight 853 front triange with a 631 head tube. Beefy 31mm x 20mm chain stays combined with a 19mm bridge give a snappy ride. The seat stays are Reynolds 725 and have brazed on plated ends which are made by brazing excess chain stay material to the ends of the seat stay. We filed large cut-outs into the rear dropouts to save a little weight. Build kit wise, lightweight but durable. 3t carbon fork, ultegra 11 speed group, DT 350 on h plus son wheels. Liz opted for a two paint job in Wold orange and charcoal. She’ll be riding Liege-Baston-Liege and the dragon ride on this bike in the coming weeks.
